Tom Kmiec

The Liberal government introduced their second budget on March 22nd, which included a $28.5 billion deficit – and a projected accumulated deficit of $143 billion over 5 years!

New taxes are coming on alcohol, cigarettes, transit passes, uber rides and the elimination of many family friendly tax credits.

On Thursday April 27th, I will be hosting a Budget 2017 Open House from 6:30 to 8:30pm at McKenzie Towne Hall (40 McKenzie Towne Blvd. S.E.)

I will also be welcoming your opinions on the recently-released Alberta Jobs Taskforce report on how to get Albertans back to work as soon as possible. You can read the full report here.

Come out and share your thoughts on Budget 2017 in an informal setting, so that I can take your feedback back to Ottawa and ensure that the Trudeau government is held accountable for the way they spend your money.

You can RSVP here
