What Makes Riverbend a Great Community !

posted Jun 5, 2017, 9:28 AM by Douglas Ratke

There are so many things that make Riverbend a great community to live in.  Here are some of the many reasons:

o   Access to Major Transportation Routes (Deerfoot, Glenmore, etc.)

o   Access to Recreation Facilities

o   Access to Restaurants

o   Community Engagement

o   Easy access to Major Shopping (130th, Chinook, South Centre, Riverbend, etc.)

o   Family Friendly

o   Low Crime

o   Parks and Playgrounds (e.g. Carburn, Array of Playgrounds)

o   Walkability

Not only that, but, here is a random sampling of some of the many comments we get from the people that matter the most – you, our residents:

"My wife and I have lived in Riverbend since October of 2015. We feel as though we made the perfect choice for our first home. Our proximity to the beautiful park space and the river (and it's ability to feed my fly fishing addiction) coupled with the plethora of transportation options (and the future Green Line LRT!) make us very confident this is a community where we will want to start our family!"

"Moved to Riverbend with my parents before I started high school 25 yrs ago. Last year my husband, kids and I moved into a house on the same street as 'Gramma and 'Grampa'."

"3 years before I was married and then another 17 years after I was married and we bought our second home here in Riverbend. We still love it here! And lots of photos of the kids on that rock!"

"It will be 3 months on May 15th. We purchased our first home here and took possession Feb 15th and we absolutely love it here!!!"

"I lived there before it existed  Lived in the Southhill Mobile Home Park, used to walk across the very large field that was Riverbend to get to the Ogden Safeway."
