Renovation Updates
New Appliances
All original 30+ year-old appliances have been replaced with modern, energy efficient models. There are 2 new fridges, 2 new stoves and 2 new commercial dishwashers.

New furniture
We replaced round heavy wooden tables with lighter plastic folding tables and also replaced heavy fabric chairs with plastic stacking chairs.
The new furniture will ensure long lifespan of our new floors as well as will be easy to clean and sanitize according to pandemic requirements.
New floors
Floors have been replaced in the Bow room, in the hallway and in the upper level kitchen. Both staircases have also been replaced.
Kitchen
New counter-top and new flooring have been installed in the kitchen.
New Dispensers
New dispensers got installed throughout the facility
Wainscoting
Walls in the Bow Room are now protected by beautiful wainscoting. Thank you Mission Hill for installing this!

Refinished floors
We are excited to share that hardwood floors in the Elbow and Carburn Park rooms have been refinished! They look shiny and amazing!
Wildrose room
Lower level
We are all really excited to see the lower level transition into a more child-friendly space with a refresh of paint colours, purpose built elements and the ability to conduct different types of activities in different rooms. Thank you Little Steps for all your work on this!
