2018-19 Season

The 2018-19 volleyball season wound up at the end of May. Special thank you to Holy Angels school and the staff there for accommodating some date changes and to the new teams and the returning teams which have sustained the league. A wind-up party was held at the Douglasdale Bull&Finch and was well attended.

The gold-medal favorites with the most league points going into the final game were the ‘Power Units” with the “Highballers” a really close second. For the last game the Power Units ended up challenged by the hopeful new team the ‘Riverbend Bombers’ but easily won the gold medals (the chocolate version). Congratulations to the Power Units for their long run in the league and also for winning it for another year.
