2023- We would like to thank ECCO Recycling (eccorecycling.com) for their generous donation in support of our garbage enclosure project!
Thanks to their generosity, we were able to upgrade materials to no maintenance composite that should last for a long time.

The project was funded by Government of Alberta - Community Facility Enhancement Program, City of Calgary - Inspiring Neighbourhoods Grant, Calgary Parking Authority Sponsorship Program and Riverbend Community Association.
The sign was designed and manufactured by Calgary based company Better Bike Racks (www.betterbikeracks.com) that completed a similar project in Inglewood and Beltline.
2022 - Thank you MLA Tanya Fir for providing amazing goodie bags for the community kids who attended our End of School Summer Dance! And thank you to Papa Johns Pizza for supplying us with delicious pizza to feed them with!

2022 - Riverbend Sobeys and Quarry Park Co-op have again donated several plants and planters to beautify spaces around the Community Centre. We love it!
2022 - The ENMAX Energizing Spaces grant has enabled Riverbend to replace lights at the outdoor rink as part of our All-Season Rink makeover project. We are very excited for the new energy efficient lights and a new timer, which will decrease the cost of electricity to operate our brand new all-season rink facility.
2022 - Thank you Westcor Construction Ltd. for donating construction fence and signage to keep our community safe while while we are waiting for new rink construction to start.
2022 - Thank you to Recon Metal and ECCO Recycling for donating the bins and accepting the debris from rink demolition for free!
