Child ID Kits
On September 20th, 2024, before our Throwback Movie night, the Calgary Heritage Lions will be handing out free “Child ID Kits” to any community parents who would like to have one for their child. This kit provides important information about your child such as fingerprints, DNA samples, dental and medical records, and other personal and physical information.
Together with your child, you complete the information on the enclosed card and then keep it in a safe place at your home. It is suggested that the information be updated yearly.
The kits may also be used for other individuals who may tend to wander off. If you are a parent or guardian who would benefit from having this kit, please come and see us at the Riverbend Community Centre on Friday, September 20th from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you.
The Calgary Heritage Lions Club meets at the Riverbend Community Centre the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month. If you are interested in volunteering come out and see what we are about.
