Throughout the 2017/18 school year parent volunteers and students worked on this amazing fence project to commemorate Canada's 150th birthday. It all started one day while out with the kids on recess, the Principal, Mr. Hebenton thought how cool it would be to put up a mural along the fence. He shared this idea with a few people and it took off with many parent volunteers jumping in to help with the cutting of the letters/leaves. The teachers and students in each grade had a letter or leaf to decorate and the name of each child in the school is written on the mural. It was a team effort that really brought the school community together and wouldn’t have been possible without the help of many volunteers. Thank you for brightening up our community!
