Community Programs

(GFB) is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary whereby anyone can purchase boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables at an affordable price. The Good Food Box Program offers a Hands Up approach as opposed to a Hands-Out. We offer all Calgarians and those in the surrounding areas, sustainable access to nutritious boxes of fruits and vegetables, to ensure that no one has to go hungry. The boxes are assembled by dedicated volunteers, who along with The Community Kitchen desire to see individuals and families accessing nutritious fruits and vegetables at an affordable price.

Mission Hill began meeting at the Riverbend Community Centre in November, 2015.  Mission Hill Church desires to build a gospel-centred community that shines a spotlight on Jesus  in order that more people within our city may come to know Jesus and follow Jesus Christ. We desire that our communities may experience the love and  joy of a healthy/vibrant church within their neighbourhood.

Times:  Every Sunday at 10 AM

Dress casual and feel free to bring a coffee, or fill up with the complimentary coffee brewed that morning. We enjoy having our families together for the first 15 minutes of the service before we dismiss our children (ages 3-10) to enjoy the kid's ministry. We aim to dismiss by 11:05 AM, and you're always welcome to stay back and visit.
